A list of websites I find interesting, informative, fun and more, collected from around the internet. Will eventually organize these better.

>Other sites I'm on

  • Personal Tumblr
  • Aesthetics Tumblr
  • Steam
  • AO3
  • Instagram
  • Backloggd
  • >Web/Resources

  • HTML Dog Examples - W3schools-like with a modern layout and good examples.
  • Making Neocities From Scratch - Easy-to-follow Youtube guide if you prefer visuals.
  • Martindisk's Custom Fonts Guide - There are other ways to add fonts, but this way was really helpful for me!
  • MDN Web Docs - More modern, up-to-date W3schools (though I prefer that site anyway)
  • Mooeena Links - Not just resources but a whole bunch of other stuff too.
  • Neocities HTML Tutorial - Another great, detailed but easy to follow video. Has a part 2!
  • Pauli Kohberger's Web Guide - Nice, clean tutorial by the creator of Electricopolis.
  • Sadgrl.online's Webmastery Links - THE webmaster resource in my opinion. So much good stuff.
  • Scripted Resources - A whooole bunch more resources. The graphics are nice, too!
  • W3Schools Online Resources - A classic with every web-building resource you can think of.
  • Webmastering Layouts - A nice collection of CSS/HTML layouts to start with.
  • >Web/Graphics

May include rapidly flashing and/or NSFW images. These sites WILL BE image-heavy so prepare your browser!

  • 99GifShop - Great gifs resource, especially for kawaii graphics.
  • 88x31 GIF Collection. - Little button style gifs! IMAGE HEAVY, NSFW IMAGES WARNING
  • Betty's Graphics - Not searchable, but a vast collection of classic graphics.
  • Blinkies - A collection of blinkies. This is linked on my homepage too.
  • Bonnibel's Graphic Collection - Similar setup to Betty's Graphics, mostly anime/kawaii.
  • Gifcities - Every single Geocities graphic you can imagine with a search!
  • Glitter Graphics - Another classic, exactly as the title says.
  • Google Fonts - Not exactly "graphics" but it is a free, high quality font resource with ~1.5k choices.
  • >Wikipedia

Because of the length relative to what the rest of this page should contain, I've decided to make a seperate page for curated Wikipedia articles. Here, I'll instead post some other curated lists of articles people made!

Due to the nature of Wikipedia, some of the articles may contain NSFW and/or upsetting content.

  • 500+ Interesting Wikipedia Articles - By a netizen called Endwalker. There's a lot of disturbing/true crime related articles in here that I purposefully avoided for my own page, but if it's your thing...
  • Bonnibel's Wikipedia Page - A fellow Neocities user's Wikipedia article collection, which inspired my own.
  • Featured Articles - The best-written articles on Wikipedia as chosen by its editors.
  • Unusual Articles - A curation of the strangest wikipedia articles! Great for a Wiki-binge.
  • >Webgames/Idle

Idle/Incremental games where the whole point of the game is to wait, upgrade, and wait. Why is this so fun for me? No idea. Numbers go up!

  • A Dark Room - One of the earlier classics in the idle game community.
  • DodecaDragons - It's about dragons?.
  • Evolve - An idle game about evolution, with multiple branches.
  • Galaxy.click - A whole collection of idle games including the ones I've already posted :).
  • Level 13 - Difficult game about a post-apocalyptic setting(?). Survival based..
  • PokeClicker - Pokemon as an idle game! Quite faithful to the series.
  • Proto23 - Looks like a classic JRPG in an idle game style? Hasn't been updated in a while.
  • Shark Game - A "numbers go up" game about sharks. Has other sea life, and fun facts :).
  • Synergism - A game that has been around for a long time now, with many ascensions and interesting mechanics. Gets a bit confusing later on.
  • The Barnacle Goose Experiment - CW for themes of suicide, self harm, unsanitary stuff...Not for the faint of heart. A much more dark and serious take on the idle game genre. Describes itself as an "Abiogenesis idle clicker". Similar to alchemy?
  • The Ignited Space - One of many space management games, this one's about relocating to a different planet after Earth gets swallowed by the sun.
  • Theory Of Magic - Be the wizard you've always wanted to be. Or you can do a Rincewind challenge and suck at being a wizard...somehow.
  • >Webgames/Virtual Pets

Virtual pets in your browser as opposed to downloading a game or buying one.

  • Chicken Smoothie - Weird name, but a classic in the virtual pet community. Nice art and a cozy forum.
  • Dragon Cave - Another classic in the community, with beautiful sprites. Baby dragons can die, however. There's a mobile game very similar to this called "Dragon Village Collection".
  • Flight Rising - Probably the best dragon raising and breeding game you'll get. Has quite the economy.
  • Ovipets - An interesting pet breeding game with Chicken Smoothie-like art. Pets can die if they're not fed, so be ware, although you can resurrect them for a cheap fee.
  • Pixel Cat's End - In closed beta, so you'll have to wait for an opening. I joined, and it's really nice so far. Has a DnD style RPG mechanic.
  • Pokefarm Q - There's a few Pokemon virtual pet sites like this one! (But no Digimon, I wonder why, since that one actually started as a virtual pet line).
  • Virtual Pet Directory. - Doesn't seem to have udpated in a while and many links are broken, but enough are up that it's a good resource.
  • >Webgames/Other

  • 2048 - A math-puzzle game that's just soothing to play. One of those classics.
  • Coolmathgames - Another relic that has survived the death of Flash. Very nostalgic older flash games, not always about math.
  • Chronophoto - Guess what year a photo was taken in!
  • Diablo Web - Play the original Diablo in your browser!.
  • Dolldivine - A great archive of dress-up games, updated from flash and available in your browser.
  • Fallen London - Text adventure with excellent prose and visuals. Only real downside is the "actions" system, but it's still good.
  • Flashpoint Archive - Flash's not dead! A massive archive of flash games. You DO need to download this, but every game here used to be available to play on a browser.
  • Frog Corral - An adorable puzzle game about corraling frogs into a pond.
  • Geotastic - A free alternative to Geoguessr run entirely through donations! How well do you know the world?
  • Itch.io - Great resource for new games you can play in your browser or download!.
  • Newgrounds - Some games may contain offensive, NSFW, gory content A long-standing staple of the internet that has survived the death of Flash and continues to be popular. Not just games, but art, animation and music too.
  • Yume Nikki Online - Play the legendary RPG Maker game Yume Nikki in your browser!
